Actually, it was more like pounding the treadmill, but what’s the difference. All that matters was that I got in an amazing, much needed, run.
I ran 7 miles in 63 minutes. Whoohoo! I set out to do 4 miles, but I needed to run off some of my stress/anxiety, so 7 miles it was. And to tell you the truth, I feel a lot better, so it much needed.
I am also happy to report that my food situation has done a complete 180 from where it was this past week. I am back on the bandwagon with Jenna! Fresh foods and less processed foods are re-entering my diet :). Yayy!
*I just realized I forgot to upload my photos of my breakfast/lunch today! GAHHH, I will post them as an update tonight. FAIL! However, I placed a few images in as holders…
For breakfast, I brought along my Chobani, a peach and a CranBran Vitatop. I cut up the peach and mixed them all together, adding in two spoonfuls of almond butta (which, yes, I keep in my desk!). Can I get a hell yes for yogurt messes? They are the best!
How have I gone so long without Chobani in my life? People, you need to tell me these things! So much better than my Dannon Light and Fit. No hating towards Dannon, but Chobani has my heart <3.
For lunch, I packed a whole wheat wrap with hummus, feta and black beans. I had this combo on Saturday, and it totally hit the spot and filled me right up.
This wrap looks prettier than mine anyway… LOL…
On the side, I packed an apple and a Peanut Butter Cookie LaraBar. My favorite flavor, hands down.
Not too shabby for photos, eh??
However, I am a bit dissapointed, I really want to try the PB&J flavor, but my Whole Foods was comopletely out of them! I guess I’ll have to keep going back until I am lucky enough to find them!
Again, sorry guys about the odd posting times and missing photos the past few days. Hopefully after today my life will be back in order and I’ll have my brain functionality back ;).
What is your favorite wrap/sammie combo? Mine is black beans, avocado and cheddar cheese, all pressed together in a panini press.
